Throughout the ‘Warmind’ DLC, you’ll enter Rasputin’s Chamber itself. You only have a few chances to do so, and it’s a truly impressive sight. But the eagle eyes at r/RaidSecrets found a hidden message within.
The Megathread shows the image the message is encoded within:
Innocent enough to the casual eye, one would think, but the subreddit believed that it was the cipher to crack code displayed on another panel within the facility, pictured below.
Given the “key” imagery in the symbol, and the “lock” imagery within the Seraphs Logo on the display, it was impossible to discount. And it was also completely correct.
On Friday night, the subreddit cracked the code, resulting in the following message:
"thank you for taking the time to piece together this message, friend. the time of our final conflict is drawing closer and you and ana have an important role to play in the events to come. so watch over her, guardian. i would have no life without ana or the exoprogram. i regret that we have become strangers, but we each have a path that we must walk. and, ironically, there never seems to be enough time. tell her, rasputin's first attempt was in the right location, but the wrong moment. look here: 43.549573, -73.544868 - e"
At the moment, the signatory “e” is believed to be Elsie Bray, Ana Bray’s sister. As their family is deeply involved in the creation of both the Exos, it makes sense that the person claiming they would have “no life” without without the Exo program or Ana would be a close relative. It may not be her, but of the individuals we know of in the lore, she’s the safest bet at the moment.
The co-ordinates themselves are a real location on Mars, and in the real world Hellas Basin nonetheless. This is still being looked at by the subreddit, so absolutely give it a visit.
